THE OCTET PRESENTS MAJORS & MINORS

 Back for the second time at the Palladium, https://mypalladium.org/events/the-octet-presents-majors-minors/ this jazz octet features five young musicians who have recently attended Jazz programs in Florida and New York.Two of the area’s major veteran Jazz musicians will tie this group together for an amazing evening of jazz. Concert features “Majors” Joe Porter, bass; John Jenkins, drums; David Pate, tenor saxophone and “Minors” Kendric McCallister, Leader, tenor saxophone (SUNY Purchase in New York); David Mason, alto saxophone (Frost School of Music at the University of Miami); Jason Charos, trumpet (Frost School of Music at the University of Miami); Don Austin, trombone (SUNY Purchase in New York. From Pennsylvania); Leonid Morozov, guitar (SUNY Purchase in New York. From Russia).
